At Pip n Jay, we have Mission Partners all over the world; from Lancaster to South Africa. For updates, please read our articles on 'Life on Mission With Jesus'
Carolyn is the Deputy Head of a Christian School in Clarens, SA. They provide free education for children in the local community. Many families have come to know Jesus through their children. At the school, they are able to pray together, read the bible, and worship in their mother tongue.
Carolyn also helps run the Children's Ministry (BBM) at her church. Here, they reach out to 50 - 100 kids each week.
Caroline, with the support of Iris Ministries, set up a baby house in Antananarivo, Madagascar in 2008 to rescue abandoned babies on the street. Caroline and her team now care for over 130 children living in the centre, 200 children on their lunch programme, 70 babies on the milk programme, and 140 children in the Community programme. Worldwide there are more people on football pitches than in church on a Sunday. Martin is the GB Director for Ambassadors Football UK. Ambassadors Football UK works with colleagues around the world to deliver programs that result in people being discipled for Jesus who may not otherwise visit a church, using the medium of football. The staff are accepted in the football world as they are well qualified to teach and coach football which opens doors to ministry that would not otherwise be possible. Ambassadors Football sees its role within the body of Christ to inspire, train and model ways in which the church can get outside its walls into the community with football.
The UN acknowledges that sport is a great way to help children to recover and process the trauma that can come from natural disasters. Following disasters, the international Ambassador Football team has been able to set up trauma relief camps in partnership with local churches to provide a gateway to help and hope for the local communities.
