24 Hours of Prayer

As we prepared for the 24 hours of prayer we were aware that we were not trying to get God to do something in return for our prayer. We were intentionally surrendering to Him and asking His will be done. In the early hours of prayer the picture on the right was drawn.

We noticed a verse repeatedly quoted from Mark 9:24

“I do believe; help me overcome my  unbelief.”

John 15:5 has been on my mind for a few months now. We prayed  that we would walk closely with Jesus and  remain in Him in all of life, that we will bear fruit.

We reflected upon Jesus’ words from Matthew 6:33 that have been precious to Pip n Jay Church.  It is clear that to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness does not mean stopping but stepping into His plans for us now.

We also realised that the thief comes to kill steal and destroy all that Jesus is doing. We prayed Psalm 16:1

"Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.”
